“Enjoy the Journey, Embrace the Challenges”
Click here for the 2009 Conference Brochure
I am so excited for our 2009 Conference! We have some wonderful plans in store for all of you! As a reminder, it will be held in Brookfield (a Milwaukee-area suburb) at the beautiful Sheraton Milwaukee-Brookfield which recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation (see website at www.sheraton.com/milwaukeebrookfield ). The conference will begin on Wednesday, March 4th, with pre-conference workshops and will end on the afternoon of Friday, March 6th.
Wednesday afternoon will offer some informational and enriching workshops. Wednesday evening will include a wonderful play at Sunset Theater and a light dinner. Thursday will be packed with workshops offering enough variety to meet everyone’s needs. We will also have scheduled time on Thursday to visit our Exhibitors. This will include a networking lunch as well as an evening event. Then, on Friday, we’ll be having more workshops, our annual meeting and regional caucuses, and a Keynote that I am so excited for all of you to experience! You will find out who our Keynote is when you receive our conference brochure. For now, I’m going to keep you in suspense. I promise you much enjoyment and excitement throughout the conference!
Due to a little crunch in time, we’re going to be e-mailing you the brochure (hopefully) before the holidays. Then, right after the first of the year, it will be mailed out. In addition, the brochure will be e-mailed out on several state listserves. Finally, we will have the brochure on our WCCAA website to download.
So get out your 2009 calendars, and mark “WCCAA Conference” on the dates of March 4, 5, and 6 as you won’t want to miss out on all the wealth of information you’ll gain, networking opportunities, and all the fun we always manage to have!
Watch for an e-mail and start spreading the news!
