Celebrate Children Purchasing Consortium

The Celebrate Children Foundation has established a Purchasing Consortium to benefit family and group child care centers throughout Wisconsin. The purpose of the Celebrate Children Purchasing Consortium is to provide considerable discounts on everyday expenditures, like food and grocery items, school supplies, early learning curriculum materials, janitorial and cleaning supplies, and much more.

By leveraging the combined purchasing power of the state’s early education and childcare industry, the Celebrate Children Foundation is able to help early learning professionals save time, money and resources, so they can focus on what really matters: enhancing and enriching the lives of our children. The Foundation is committed to supporting efforts that positively impact early learning programs for children birth to age five in Wisconsin.

Beginning December 28, 2012, any crib provided by child care facilities and family child care homes must meet new and improved federal safety standards. The new standards take effect for manufacturers, retailers, importers and distributors on June 28, 2011, addressing deadly hazards previously seen with traditional drop-side rails, requiring more durable hardware and parts and mandating more rigorous testing.
