Below is the workshop proposal form for the 2020 Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association (WCCAA) Conference to be held at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley located at 333 West College Avenue, Appleton, WI on April 29 – May 1, 2020. We are anticipating that approximately 200+ child care administrators, directors, owners, teachers, and other interested parties will be in attendance.
WCCAA was founded in 1976 to help child care administrators in Wisconsin network with each other, spread the news about issues affecting them, and take joint action on advocacy issues. An integral part of WCCAA’s mission is to help administrators find out about and sponsor classes and training specifically designed to meet their needs. WCCAA plays a critical role in directing the future of professionalism in early care and learning in Wisconsin by working with our local, state, and federal government officials to educate them about our organization, our members, and our commitment to professionalism and excellence in early care and learning. Each year, we sponsor a conference for child care administrators throughout the State of Wisconsin. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather information regarding current topics in our field and network with other early care and learning professionals who share some of the same experiences and challenges.
Our 2020 conference aims to focus around topics such as: trauma informed care, social-emotional needs, advocacy, business related areas (budgeting, marketing, on-boarding, retention, legal, accounting), school age geared sessions, and more. Are any of these areas you are knowledgeable, skilled, and passionate about??? We are looking for some motivational workshop presenters for our conference to help educate, drive and support our directors, administrators, teachers, owners, etc. in these areas. We are seeking presenters daily for morning and/or afternoon sessions. We hope that you will consider sharing your area of expertise with our attendees. Workshops are approximately one hour and 30 minutes in length and for each workshop you will receive a $75.00 stipend.
If you or another one of your organization’s members are interested in being a presenter at this conference, please complete the workshop proposal form below, and return it to the address listed at the bottom of the form or e-mail it to email@example.com by October 18, 2019. We also encourage you to share this information with anyone else you feel would be an excellent presenter on a topic suitable for administrators, directors and business owners of early care and learning programs.
